Summary:
Coordinates and directs the activities of employees to maximize productivity and minimize cost while maintaining quality.
Inspects product to verify production specifications are met.
Trains and supervises production personnel.
Ensures adherence to PPC Cardinal Safety Rules
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND
Responsibilities:
  • Supervises the day-to-day activities of production operations and personnel to meet established production, quality control and safety standards.
  • Ensures activities meet short-term goals established for production continuity and balance such as limiting down time, maximizing line efficiencies, machine loading, grievance resolution and equipment maintenance.
  • Works with other plant function areas as needed to ensure support in attaining output, productivity and quality.
  • Schedules, trains and motivates production labor force to ensure consistent attainment of production schedules at optimum productivity and cost levels.
    Interviews and recommends individuals for open positions.
  • Recommends improvements in production flow or methods.
  • Uses operating methods and procedures designed to eliminate operating problems and to improve product quality.
  • Notifies management personnel of machines and/or equipment that could be modified to improve production and quality of products.
  • Conducts safety meetings, safety observations, incident investigations and promotes safe work practices.

Qualifications:
  • 3 or more years of previous Supervisory experience.
  • Poultry or food industry experience a plus.
  • Previous leadership skills with 20 or more employees.

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
